Phonencian Game

As you take another step, the same effect occurs.

I run a short distance away from the group, heading towards the place we started.

Ziel facepalms himself from annoyance "We literally just said not to split up. Oh well whatever... What was that anyway?" he asked the others.

Each step anyone takes causes the ripples and shimmers beneath their feet, it occurs as your feet firmly touch the ground.

''Whatever it is it's only happening when someone is touching the ground....'' Shirou decides to examine it

On examination, you find that upon firm contact with the ground, it ripples and shimmers a little, a firm stomp or a very light tap won't cause it to happen, however.

''It seems that walking will not cause it, running and any kind of movement that makes us put pressure in the ground will start it...Now what will you 2 do, follow him and go find the rest of the group or find the girl and if possible getting some answers to what is going on in this forest?''

Ziel thinks for a few moments and then decides "I'm going to follow him to find the others I don't really want to go find this little girl as it seems there is too much trouble happening around whenever she's around." he says as he starts walking into Fred's direction.

Cephei turns to where Fred and Ziel went at and starts walking toward there without saying a word, he is looking at the ground while clenching his teeth, if it was up to him, no one would be left behind...
Suddenly he stops, his angry expressions changes to an evil grin as he laughs quite  slyly "Kihihihihi". Then he says. "I didn't know our friend was into "that", huh? And with a girl who just lost her mom. Clever, clever... You knew we would try to find another way, that way there wouldn't be "witnesses" to your little dirty "crime"." He starts walking again slowly while sweating a bit. If Shirou ignores him (aka doesn't try to break his head *shot*), he will start to walk faster to reach the others.

Shirou clenches his fists in anger knowing that he's currently not able to do anything alone that without the others there will be no more tries....''This is not over, I will comeback and figure out what's going on here once I'm ready.'' He says glaring to the deep part of the forest before walking to the others.

You begin to walk, together, back towards where you began, quickly catching up to Fred, you can see the ground still rippling and shimmering with each step, as you continue towards your destination without a hitch, soon, you are back where you began.

Ziel look around and asks "Sooooooooooooo does anyone remember which direction those they went?"

Shirou examines the ground for footprints or any other hint that may tell the way

"He went this way." Fred said, pointing in the opposite direction they had gone. He remembered it vividly, since the guy had a bright, arrogant smile and a confident walk when he slunk away from the group. Luckily he looked around before he left. He then proceeds to look for any tracks, which may indicate what direction he took next.

There are no tracks on the ground, for some strange reason, it's as if he never stepped foot in this place - speaking of which, there aren't any tracks for any of you either.

"That's strange... what could be causing this, I wonder?" Fred Pondered, using his memory, he tries to remember the way the other 2 went. If he succeeds, he heads in that direction, if he fails, he surveys his surroundings and checks for any birds.

"What is this...no tracks, ripples in the ground, what is wrong with this forest?" Ziel asks slightly annoyed.

For some reason, you cannot remember where the other two went - nor are there any tracks on the ground.

Above you, birds are circling, they always are.

In addition, you are all beginning to feel quite thirsty - abnormally so, given how lush and comfortable this forest is.

''This is not good....we are been affected by something and as I suspected the birds are back again...'' He says watching the birds above ''We got to get out of here fast.''

"This way common!" Ziel yells as he starts running forward.

Cephei grins as he follows Ziel. He wipes off the sweat from his forehead with the back of his hand, then he softly rubs the back of his hand on a tree to wipe it off his hand.

As you press down against the tree to wipe off the sweat, it ripples as well.

Fred walks up to the tree and tries to stick his hand in it.

You find yourself unable to, but it still ripples, as if touching the surface of water.

Fred tries to look for any ripples far away from him.
